"I have no powers," Taylor lies. She comes from a world where being careless can have terrible consequences, and trying her hardest not to reveal to anyone she has a superpower, especially since it naturally would invite a lot of questions she wouldn't want to answer. It's caution, and although it might seem like a lot of it, she sees it as perfectly justifiable.

And covertly use her bugs in planning, she thinks to herself. If something happens, it can't be pinpointed on Taylor herself, there's always going to be plausible deniability, especially if she can arrange things to make it look like any anomalies involving bugs were caused by someone else they didn't see. If there's one thing Taylor is good at, is improvising and planning. She'll come up with something, she's sure.
