"He sounds like a piece of work." Crowley certainly isn't above messing with people, but he draws the line at tricking or hurting kids, as much as he could when he was working for Hell.

"Hopefully you'll not have to worry about him, here. Or anyone else tricking you. Most folks here are the decent sort. I'm probably the scariest thing around." He tips his glasses down so Webber can see him wink, making it clear that he's just playing. He might actually be the scariest thing here, but he doesn't have any intention to fill that role, so it's really more of a joke.
