SLEIGH BELLS RING ❄ MINGLE

SLEIGH BELLS RING

Those that escape from the theater all seem to come out through the same doors. When they get there, they can see that the theater isn't actually a building. There's only a free-standing set of theater doors on the playground. At the rear side of them is a brick wall.
Those that exit will find they can't re-enter.
None of the humans have seemed to notice the door or them, even those driving by.
Not everyone escapes at the same time. It comes in fits and starts, them filtering of the theater. Some can walk out mostly unharmed, some limp out, some come out supporting each other.
What they find outside is... uncanny. There in the playground is a massive sleigh, but one that looks not-exactly-traditional, with equipment and boosters that look almost like a mix of technology and something magical.
It's been expanded into many carriages, almost like a roller coaster. Harnessed to it are eight massive reindeer, champing slightly at their bits. It appears the people that attacked and created the theater are at least long gone. That means that as people slowly filter out they can check up on each other, provide first aid, and reassure each other.
❅ Status effects: Any injuries or damage that happens to a character will stick when they leave the Multiplex. That means that someone that gets facehugged by a facehugger will have an alien larva problem that may be causing some serious indigestion soon. Anyone that gets Borg-nanited through the neck will start having the nanites take over them. However the myth healing will slow these processes down until they can get to the Pole, and there are magical means at the Pole to help the characters survive this.
❅ First Aid/Other Supplies: The sleigh will have magically anticipated their needs. While it won't have the antivenom for Kaa because only a magical plant that grows at the Pole can cure the bites, it will have plenty of well-stocked general first aid kits. Applying first aid can help the myth healing heal someone more quickly and is important for injured characters that opted out of the myth healing.
❅ Timing: People can bendytime the timing of when their characters have escaped to play in this and "Let's All Go To The Movies" at the same time. People can also intro here late if they need to wrap some things up in the other post first.
❅ Intro: Players can use this post to intro instead if that's their preference. You can just assume your characters had to run from scary things in the theater and either handwave their circumstances, or assume your character found a way out more quickly than others.

Kerrigan starts over to the pair, picking her way around a set of truck tires buried halfway in a sandpit in preference to taking the path, since the latter would add about 20 feet to her trip.

Need has no concept of that period of time as being long or short, but her attachment to people she's met always fades rapidly once they're out of contact, since those aspects of herself that missed people and worried what they got up to in her absence were worn away a long time ago. It's always a bit of a strange sensation to reconnect, a light shock.
Nyara sees the strange woman covered in blood and etc approaching and stands up, uncertain. The girl is only a couple inches shorter than Kerrigan and dressed in homespun and leathers and furs, carrying a bow and arrows along with Need, whose hilt and scabbard are new-ish mostly white leather. Definitely a fantasy look. She's got cat eyes and pointed ears and dark, dappled fur on her face and is also psychic, but quite weakly all things considered. Someone who can sense emotions at close range.
:She's human. These changes were all done to her starting as a child,: Need puts in, showing a simmering unstated anger towards the one responsible before she shunts it back away. She knows Kerrigan isn't as xenophobic as some of the others she's aware of from the Wilderlands but still would like to dodge suspicion about aliens if she can. Nyara gets plenty of that in Velgarth.

"Hey, kid," she says. "I don't know if Need told you, but I'm Sarah Kerrigan." Kerrigan looks like she's just dropped in from somebody's crossover fic, because she herself has an elven sword hanging from an equally elven belt at the waist of her not-at-all-elven sci-fi armor. She offers a gloved hand to shake before she notices the layer of blood crusted on it. "...Oops."
Retracting the handshake, Kerrigan instead crouches to grab some playground sand as a makeshift scouring pad.

If Need had a physical presence and a body, Nyara wouldn't be hiding behind her, exactly, but she would have been looking to Need constantly for reassurance and might have taken her hand. Nyara is, frankly, overwhelmed. She's just come off the safest month and a half of her short life, living with Need in the wilderness. This is too many people, none of whom she knows and so all may be suspect, and too much noise and light. Need is showing her utter steadiness and calm, being a lifeline.

Maybe not everyone is a trained assassin, Sarah.
She stands back up, dusting off her hand, and tries for the shake again. "Sorry you're in this mess, but Need can teach you a few tricks. My...friend Loken, too." After Kerrigan tells him the girl's human, anyway...but no need to point that part out.
:And it seems like you're psychic enough I'll be able to hear you if you yell.:

Yep, that was a word substitution and Nyara instantly picks up that Kerrigan has some degree of feelings for Loken. She doesn't comment on it, just accepts her hand to shake after Need prompts her on how to react to such a gesture.
Nyara's fingers are half-webbed and knobbly, bearing pink pads, retracted claws, and a coat of very short fur, halfway between a cat's paw and the flat hard pad of the palm and the thin bony fingers that go on a normal human hand. Her hands are more sensitive and dexterous than paws and she can evidently use a sword or a bow, but she would struggle with the trigger of a gun if she ever tried one.
"Mmh!" She has to focus, and tries to make her thoughts clear instead of scurrying in circles. :Thank you. I would not have chosen to come, but, perhaps I am at least safe from my master/my father here.:
