Anna hears Dan calling after her but she doesn't bother to register the words. His tone is soothing and calming, but: fuck that. She runs into her room and slams the door behind her, then drops to her knees to shove a wedge under the door. It won't stop them if they're determined to come after her, but it'll at least slow them down while they're pretending to be nice. She also wedges a chair under the doorknob for the same reason. She'd prepared for something like this.
Just because she'd been willing to give Aster's judgment the benefit of the doubt when he said Dan was fine didn't mean that she hadn't been prepared to take steps to keep herself safe.
With the door blocked, however temporarily, Anna doesn't need to run. She crosses to the window and peers outside to make sure the knife-wielding maniac hadn't circled around to cut off her escape.
