Closed to Kon
Who: Tim Drake and Kon-El
What: Tim is stressed and tiny, and probably needs to be protected from the elves.
Where: Random balcony of the workshop
When: Shortly after the fallout of Branch's attempted escape
Warnings/Notes: N/A
When everything is handled - when Branch is fully engaged with Dan and Stacia and Tim's gotten the nod to go - Tim will pick up the white fur coat and swing it on as he takes the long march out of the room and into the hallway.
And it's an exhausting trip. At this height? Ten feet is a football field, and there are scattered rugs which is like wading through an ankledeep cornfield. The coat doesn't help, dragging along behind him, but he wanted the warmth of it. Besides, if he can't trudge back to his communicator in one trip, he could twist it into a sleeping bag.
He's wasting so much time staying out of people's way. One person walking near by is enough to make him stumble - a yeti, he quickly learns, can put him on his ass at six feet away. Scurrying to and fro means that he's gone the equivalent of 2 kilometers in the 15 minutes since things settled down. He's beat, and his heart is going like a rabbits from all the jumping he's done every time the floor shakes.
No wonder Branch is so spooked by this place. It's overwhelming.
There's a footstool shoved under a table. Tim makes for it - seems like a good, protected place to sit for a bit.

[ Let him have this one. The shock of everything is catching up, where he'd been so focused on the situation before. Now he's anchored in Kon's hand, and Kon's talking about putting him on a shelf of all things.
(Okay, it makes sense but he hates the thought of being Rapunzeled for his own safety.)
(Doesn't really feel great to hear Kon echo some of Branch's fears, either.)
Tim refuses to let Kon bear the brunt of ensuring Tim's safety by flying forever just so Tim can have his feet on the ground, so... shelf it is. ]
Yeah. Until I turn back.
[ He doesn't even know how he shrank. Turning back? ... maybe he should go stick an entire limb in the finger trap. ]

You're gonna turn back. We're in magic land with magic stuff where magic can change our powers. Our powers changed. Again. You're probably just pulling an Atom this time. It might take a little figuring out to control it.
[He lands outside the door of their room and comes in and puts Tim on the bedside table.]
Even if you can't figure it out, we're gonna get back home someday and we know multiple dudes that can grow and shrink stuff. Dr. Palmer or Dr. Choi will be able to figure out how to fix you.
[It really is a given, honestly.]

He listlessly walks a few feet hither and thither, hearing but not fully believing the reassurance. Eventually, he sits on the corner of the table as if it’s a Gotham ledge, one leg dangling and the other bent and hugged to his chest. ]
You left off Karen.
[ Because what’s clearly important is that they list shrinking Titans. The minutiae (oh god) is a lot easier to deal with right now. They were in the last universe more than a year. Tim swallows the lump in his throat. ]
But you’re right. We just have to get home.
[ Whenever that happens. Until then, he’s stuck like this. If it wanting to be normal was enough to trigger a growth spurt, he wouldn’t be wearing this coat and sitting on display. ]
At least you didn’t get that warlock magic again. I can deal with this. And I don’t need a doll bed. I’ll curl up on a pillow.
