Conversations.

Who: Nog and you/Nog Boimler and Mariner
What: Exploring the Pole/Discussing the Prime Directive.
Where: The Pole/Nog's room.
When: After Arrival/After Boimler is healed.
Warnings/Notes: Alcohol mention

Around the Pole

One of the first things Nog does, after making sure both of the ensigns are settled, is politely ask the Yetis if they'd be willing to make him a uniform. It's a small, simple thing, but wearing it makes him feel just a bit more ready to take on what's coming.

Afterwards, he can be found in the Main Workshop, seeing what he has to work with. It's not a lot, but there's definitely something he can do with it. The real question is whether or not he should.

The other location he spends most of his time in is the training room. Not so much to train, though there is some of that, but to see how it all works. And he's actually pretty impressed. It's not a holodeck, but he wasn't really expecting one. The mannequins are all pretty impressive mechanical work all on their own

The Prime Directive

Once Boimler's fought off his nanoprobe infection it's time for more serious matters. Nog calls both him and Mariner to his room.

There's a table laid out with some options for drinks. Nothing alcoholic though. If there even is any of that here.

There's a conversation they need to have sooner rather than later, and it's best not to have to drunk.

Ah, man. Now comes time for Serious, Important Talk. Mariner hasn't given herself a moment to just breathe since she barreled through the portal on Krulmuth-B, because everything has just happened so much. Time travel and dimensional hopping and phasing and the Borg and Santa Claus...it was all way, way, way too much, and after this conversation she's going to (politely, honest!) harangue the yetis for something a little stronger than tea.

"Good to see you again, uh, you know, circumstances notwithstanding," Mariner says, sitting down.
