[OTA] When Order is Disturbed
Who: Amari and you!
What: A sorcerer descends upon this world.
Where: A Midwestern Forest
When: Early December
Warnings/Notes: N/A
The first thing Amari had noticed was how cold it was. There was a decent amount of snow about, and it seemed like there was nothing but trees for miles. She certainly couldn't see much else. This...also wasn't Al-Warth. It felt different, and she was clearly alone. No Spero, no Iori... If not for what she'd heard before ending up here, she'd be more worried. The last time she'd been shunted off into a world completely alone, things hadn't exactly gone well...
After idly picking a direction, she started walking. Part of her wondered if that voice was right, then why was she dumped out in the middle of nowhere? Then again, they may simply be in such dire straits that better guidance is out of the question. Magic is a rather tricky thing, after all.
Her thoughts were interrupted, however, when she picked up a distant sound - something coming her way, and once it grew closer, she realized it was a swarm of shadowy creatures. Steeling her nerves, Amari made her stance more solid, making a wide, circular gesture to summon a magic circle, before thrusting her open palm outward, into its center. Rapid bursts of flame shot out, quickly coalescing into a larger stream of fire, meeting the swarm head-on. It struck true, but could only hit so many - there were still quite a bit more of the creatures left.

It's not like the one going to this forest called him or something, he just chose randomly. Garurumon had been walking around, enjoying the cold and the relatable environment of the forest, when the shadowy creatures began appearing.
"Again...?"
Not the first time he encounters these, and as usual, he fights them. If the going gets tough -- like also has happened once or twice -- he'd turn tail to return to the pole. Still, fighting these are his immediate reaction, and he dives right in, swatting at them with his claws and size. He's careful not to use fire, not really wanting to set a forest on fire.
He had been in middle of this, fighting these, when he sensed something was off, and he turns his head to see not too far away bursts of fire. That's...that's a new one! Did these things gain some new trick?
"Bring it on! Come on, give me something to sink my teeth into already!"
He shouts at them, expecting a tougher fight, leaping forward to crash into the swarm, crushing a couple of the creatures, and--Amari wasn't something he expected. He had never stumbled into anyone before, and of course, the sight of someone makes him have his guard up. He's not ignorant, he knows that Kuk thing he's supposed to be against has allies, and for all he knows this is one of them.
"If these runts are all you got then come on, show something worse!"
As if to further challenge her, he swipes at the closest creature, shredding it with his claws. He's absolutely on guard, but from how he's against the creatures it should be easy to tell that at least he's not Amari's enemy.

The appearance of a large wolf-creature startles her, at least, up until she realizes that Garurumon's also fighting the creatures. "Ah...!" She's not exactly paying him the most mind, focused on keeping out of range of the swipes of the fearlings, changing her magic up from fire to swirling green winds that she uses like spinning blades. "If you are here to help, Mr. Wolf, it is much appreciated...!" Even under duress, and her tone clearly fighting back fluster, she manages to stay somewhat cordial.

"Come on, keep up!" He pressures a little, taking a breath and exhaling a barrage of blue fire onto fearlings, mostly to keep the elemental coverage going. Part of it, too, is to show off just a little bit. He hadn't intended to get in battle today, not in the least, but hey, he's supposed to be part of this group of myths saving this world and fight against the forces that are besieging it, and truthfully, with how this bunch has an actually decent goal he can get behind of he's willing to cooperate and prove his mettle, and as a Kemonogami, power tends to be what makes you remarkable. Either that or you die, and he doesn't intend to let himself just die, or let Amari get hurt.
